8.4 Q-Fan Conguration
Q-fan Tuning
Select this item and press <Enter>, a popup window appears. Click the Ok button to allow the
system to automatically detect the lowest speed and congure the minimum duty cycle for
each fan.
The tuning progress may take 2 to 5 minutes, DO NOT shut down or reset your system
during this process.
CPU Q-Fan Control
Allows you to set the CPU Q-Fan control mode.
Conguration options: [Auto Detect] [DC Mode] [PWM Mode]
[Auto Detect] Detects the type of CPU fan installed and automatically switches
the control modes.
[DC Mode] Enables the Q-Fan control in DC mode for 3-pin fan.
[PWM Mode] Enables the Q-Fan control in PWM mode for 4-pin fan.
CPU Fan Profile
Allows you to select the appropriate performance level for the assigned fan.
Conguration options: [Standard] [Silent] [Turbo] [Full Speed] [Manual]
If you wish to set CPU FAN Prole to [Manual], we suggest raising your fan/pump duty
to 100% if your CPU temperature exceeds 75°C. Please be noted CPU performance will
throttle due to overheating with inefcient fan/pump duty.
The following items will not appear if you set CPU Fan Prole to [Full Speed].
CPU Fan Step Up/Down
These items allow you to set the values of the CPU fan step up/down. Conguration
options: [0 sec] [2.1 sec] [2.8 sec] [3.6 sec] [4.2 sec] [5.0 sec] [6.3 sec] [8.5 sec] [12
sec] [25 sec]
