8. ATX power connectors (24-pin EATXPWR; 8-pin EATX12V_1; 4-pin EATX12V_2)
TheseconnectorsareforATXpowersupplyplugs.Thepowersupplyplugsare
designedtottheseconnectorsinonlyoneorientation.Findtheproperorientationand
pushdownrmlyuntiltheconnectorscompletelyt.
 DONOTconnectthe4-pinpowerplugonly,themotherboardmayoverheatunder
heavyusage.
 Ensuretoconnectthe8-pinpowerplug,orconnectboththe8-pinand4-pinpower
plugs.
 Forafullyconguredsystem,werecommendthatyouuseapowersupplyunit
(PSU)thatcomplieswithATX12VSpecication2.0(orlaterversion)andprovidesa
minimumpowerof350W.
 WerecommendthatyouuseaPSUwithahigherpoweroutputwhenconguringa
systemwithmorepower-consumingdevices.Thesystemmaybecomeunstableor
maynotbootupifthepowerisinadequate.
 Ifyouwanttousetwoormorehigh-endPCIExpressx16cards,useaPSUwith
1000Wpowerorabovetoensurethesystemstability.
