If
jagged
lines
appear
on
the
display;

sure

the
VDC
is
correctly
installed.
Make
sure
jumper
C
is
set
correctly.
The
correct
setting
m
depends
on
the
type
of
personal
computer
(Figure
3-51).
For
the
PC
6300,
the
jumper
should
be
from
1
to
2.
If
garbled
display:
Make
sure
jumper
A
on
the
VDC
is
correctly
installed.
If
application
software
indicates
a
wrong
monitor
is
connected
(monochrome
instead
of
color
or
vice
versa):
Make
sure
jumper
A
on
the
DEB
is
set
correctly.
Run
the
"Customer"
diagnostic,
and
it
will
show
whether
the
system
is
identifying
the
monitor
as
color
or
monochrome.
If
"Customer"
shows
a
monochrome
system
when
a
color
monitor
is
attached,
then
the
monitor
may
be
at
fault.
If
color
bar
pattern
is
not
correct:
Adjust
the
contrast
and/or
brightness
controls
on
the
monitor.
As
on
a
color
TV,
these
controls
can
seriously
affect
the
color
displayed.
