The following is a list of problems and symptoms that may occur
in a one or two Hard Disk Configuration:
n l. If a PC 6300, with two Hard Disks when booted, only gets
one disk ready, check the following;
c. Reformat the Hard Disk.
d. LOW-LEVEL FORMAT: Refer to section "Placing
Low-Level Format and Bad Track Mapping on Hard
Disk."

a. The drive select switch on the second HDU is set to
drive 1.
b. The cables are connected properly.
c. The terminating resistor on drive 1 was not removed.
(The last drive on the chain should be the only one with
a terminating resistor.)
