Note 1: Refer to Figure 5-14 to determine the board that
contained the failure. If the faulty RAM chip is not
socketed (soldered to the board), the board must be
replaced. If the error occurred in a socketed bank, the
faulty RAM chip can be replaced. Refer to "Determining
Faulty RAM Chips" to isolate the RAM chip that is faulty.

Note 2: Refer to Figure 5-14 to determine the bank in
which the parity error is located. If the bank is not
socketed, the board must be replaced. If the bank is
socketed, replace the parity chips in the bank. If replacing
the board or parity chips does not clear the error, replace
the Motherboard.
