You
can
customize
some
of
the
UNIX
PC
Office
features
and
operations
by
using
the
Preferences
object
in
the
Office
window.
Some
applications
also
provide
preferences
that
let
you
customize
the
application.

Preferences

features

Office
Preferences
Folder
di~]ay
type:
Displays
of
Office
object
and
folder
contents
can
be
in
any
of
three
formats:
the
name
of
each
object
followed
by
its
description;
the
name
alone;
or
the
long
form,
which
includes
the
name,
description,
date
of
last
change,
and
size.
Folder
dj~lay
order:
The
order
in
which
Office
object
and
folder
contents
are
displayed
can
be
any
of
six
sequences:
alphabetical,
most
recent,
least
recent,
largest
item
first,
smallest
item
first,
and
alphabetical
by
type.
Standard
window
size:
Certain
displays
use
a
default
window
size.
You
can
determine
the
number
of
rows
and
columns
in
the
standard
window.
