PRECAUTIONS FOR A
SAFE ELECTRIC RIDE
In case of an accident, do not touch wiring
connectors or the wired components.
In the highly unlikely event of a battery fire, extinguish
the flame by flooding it with a lot of water. A water
hose should be used, and the person doing this must
be at least a couple of metres away from the scooter.
Make sure the scooter is unplugged from the
charging point. If it isn’t, switch OFF the main power
supply immediately to cut off the electricity flow.
Once the fire is extinguished, keep flooding the
battery with water every 30 minutes, for up to 2
hours. Check on it at regular intervals for a few hours
to be extra sure that the fire doesn’t re-ignite.
