- -> Screw out bottom starter securing bolt -2-.
- Take out starter.
Installing
Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:
- Install battery carrier and battery.
- Connect battery. Action to be taken => Page 7 .
Tightening torques

M12 65
Holder for power steering pressure pipe to starter 22
Wire guide to starter 22
Terminal B+ to starter 16
Battery carrier to longitudinal member 10

Removing
- Set selector lever to "P".
- Lay bare battery posts => Page 2 onwards.
- -> Disconnect battery earth strap with ignition switched off. To do so, unfasten nut -arrow 1-.
