Lower anchorages and tether for
children (LATCH}
Location
LATCH is the acronym for Lower Anchors and Tether for
Children and designates a special child safety seat
restraint system . In Canada , the terms "top tether" with
"lower universal anchorages" (or "lower universal
anchorages bars") are used to describe the system.
