Emergency closing of the panoramic
tilting sunroof
If the sunroof detects an object in its path
when it is closing , it will open again a utomati -
cally. In this case, you can close the roof with
the power emergency closing function .
.. Within five seconds after the sunroof opens
automatically, pull the switch until the roof
closes .
Valet parking
The valet parking feature protects the lug-
gage comportment from unau thorized ac-
cess.

You can switch the "valet par king f unct ion" on
when someone else is pa rking your vehicle.
When the function is switched on, the vehicle
can be driven, locked and unlocked us ing the
master key, but access to the luggage com-
partment is not permitted .
.. Take the mechanica l key out of t he master
key

.. Activate c::> fig. 33 the "valet parking" fea-
ture by press ing the
!VALET ! button . The in-
dicator light in the switch illum inates .
.. Close the glove compa rtment and lock it
with the mechan ical key .

cal key

.. Leave the master key with t he se rvice pe r-
sonnel for parking and keep the mechanica l
key with you.
The following buttons are deactivated when
the valet parking function is switched on:

- Handle in the rear lid
