Wearing belt recognition switch E24
and E25
The wearing belt recognition switch is fitted directly
in the belt lock. Two resistors are integrated within
the switch. The measurement is effected via one or
both of the resistors, depending on the switch
position. The airbag control unit recognizes that the
safety belt has been put on by means of the
measured resistance.
