– Tighten bolts -arrows- on mounting bracket for flange shaft
(left-side).
• Tightening torque: 23 Nm
2.3 Removing and installing ATF supply unit
Removing
– Secure gearbox to assembly stand ⇒ page 18 .
• The gearbox must be horizontal with the ATF oil pan facing
downwards.
– Place used oil collection and extraction unit -V.A.G 1782- be‐
low gearbox.
– Remove ATF drain plug -arrow A- and allow ATF to drain off.

Observe relevant disposal regulations.

Some ATF always remains in the oil pan.

-Arrow B- and -item C- can be disregarded.
