– Remove flange shaft (right-side) ⇒ page 127 .
– Remove bolts in the sequence -11 ... 1-.
– Remove cover for front final drive together with outer race for
tapered roller bearing and shim.
Note
The thickness of the shim has been measured to fit; the shim must
not be replaced with another shim of different thickness.
– Remove differential.
– Remove tapered roller bearing outer race -1- for differential
and shim -2- (behind outer race) from gearbox housing by
hand.
