♦ Front longitudinal member
♦ Connecting collar with bolts
Preparing new parts
Note
Align longitudinal member with bolted-on parts.
Note
Threads must be free of paint and grease.
– Match length if necessary. Distance from node casting at least
1 mm.
– Insert threaded collar in longitudinal member.
– Insert longitudinal member with threaded collar in node cast‐
ing.
– Hand-tighten bolts.
– Tighten bolts 1 - 6. (Tightening torque 24 Nm).
