Possible settings
By setting a timer, you specify the latest time at
which your vehicle should reach the desired
charging target. When the timer is activated, it
will be run regularly at the set time.
You can adjust the following settings when using
a timer:
» Charging target (battery charge level at depar-
ture time, also see ® page 173).
» Air conditioning for departure time

» Applies to: MMI: Select on the home screen:
VEHICLE > Charging.
» You may need to scroll to the timer display

> To configure a timer, select > in the line for the
desired timer @.
» Select one or more scheduled days of the week
on which the timer should be activated, and
then press Next.
> Set the desired departure time and select OK.
» To also activate the climate control, press F @).
Ifa timer is set, then the climate control will be
activated even if no charging connector is con-
nected. If the vehicle will not be used for a long
period of time, Audi recommends deactivating
active timers to prevent the battery from dis-
charging.
» To turn ona timer, press CD @).
> To use an active timer for the next charging
process, select timer charging mode ©

You can turn on multiple timers at the same
time. The timer that is currently active will be in-
dicated with a number ©.
If the departure time set for the timer @)is too
soon, the desired charging target may not be
reached.
~The following applies if automatic unlocking
of the charging connector is activated: if the
vehicle is not currently charging, then the
charging connector is unlocked and can be
disconnected, for example when waiting for
a timer or a charging time frame.
— It is not possible to charge using the timer
at some charging stations.

You can set if the charging connector should au-
tomatically unlock when the charging process
has ended. This will allow you or others to dis-
connect the charging connector even when the
vehicle is locked. This function is helpful to pre-
vent charging stations from being blocked for
long periods of time, or to allow the charging
connector to be disconnected without a vehicle
key in private locations.
For DC charging, automatic unlocking of the
charging connector is enabled permanently.
For AC charging, automatic unlocking of the
charging connector is enabled at the factory and
can be changed.
» Applies to: MMI: To activate or deactivate auto-
matic unlocking for AC charging, select on the
home screen: VEHICLE > Charging > © > AC
connector: unlock after charging has ended.
> Before charging, always check if the selected
settings are suitable for the current charging
session.
