High-voltage
system
The
function
should
only
be
activated
if
the
charging
cable
is
part
of
the
charging
station.
If
you
use
your
own
charging
cable,
there
is
no
anti-theft
protection
and
your
charging
cable
could
be
stolen.
Plug
&
Charge
Applies

Plug
&
charge
With
Plug
&
charge,
the
contract
information
for
your
vehicle
charging
plan
will
be
stored
in
the
vehicle.
This
will
allow
your
vehicle
to
log
in
to
public
HPC,
DC,
and
AC
charging
stations
auto-
matically,
as
soon
as
the
vehicle
is
connected
to
the
charging
station with
the
charging
cable.
Logging
in
manually
and
paying
with
a
card
or
app
will
not
be
necessary.
Plug
&
charge
is
only
possible
at
compatible
charging
stations.
Configuration
Requirement:
you
must
have
an
active
vehicle
charging
plan
that
supports
Plug
&
charge.
Configure
the
Plug
&
charge
function
in
the
myAudi
app.
Switching
on
and
off
Only
the
key
user
can
switch
on
Plug
&
charge.
Once
Plug
&
charge
has
been
switched
on,
all
users
can
charge
using
Plug
&
charge.
Authoriz-
ing
individual
users
to
use Plug
&
charge
is
not
possible.
Any
user
can
switch
off
the
service,
for
example
for
an
upcoming
charging
session.
The
key
user
must
switch
on
the
service again.
Requirement:
you
have
configured
Plug
&
charge.
Your
myAudi
user
is
set
as
the key
user
of
the
ve-
hicle

as
this

Select
a
charging
station
that
is
Plug
&
charge
compatible.
You

find
information

charging

payment

Connect
your
vehicle
to
the
charging
station

sure that
the
login

the
charging
station

Payment

processed

Erasing
contract
information
from
the
vehicle
If
the
key
user
remains
logged
into
the
vehicle
af-
ter
the
vehicle
charging
plan
ends,
the
contract
data
will
be
automatically
deleted
from
the
vehi-
cle.
If
there
still
is
an
active
charging
plan,
then
unau-
thorized
persons
could
use
this
function
at
your
cost,
for
example
if
you
sell
your
vehicle.
To
pre-
vent
this,
you
must
delete
the
contract
data
from
the
vehicle.
Reset
the
vehicle
to
the
factory
default
set-
tings.
Troubleshooting
If
the
function
cannot
be
switched
on
or
if
you
cannot
enter
a
vehicle
charging
plan,
then
reset
the
vehicle
to
factory
default
settings
and
try
again
after
24
hours.
Messages
Plug
&
charge
authentication
not
possible
This
message
appears
if
authentication
and
pay-
ment
via
Plug
&
charge
is
not
possible.
To
start
a
charging
session
anyway,
select
another
payment
method
at
the
charging
station.
