Establishing a Bluetooth TM cell phone connection
You can quickly connect your Bluetooth-
compatible cell phone with the MMI or
radio system.
Connecting to the MMI:
• Switch the ignition, MMI and cell phone
on.
• Activate "Bluetooth" and "Access to
SIM card" on the cell phone.
• Press the TEL function button.
• Mark the menu item
"Search for new cell phones".
• Press the SETUP function button.
• Press the "Bluetooth" control button.
• Highlight the menu item "Search for
Bluetooth devices" and confirm.
• Mark and confirm your cell phone
in the display.
• Mark "Handsfree" and confirm.
• Confirm the PIN number with "Yes" .
• Enter the PIN number on the cell phone .
• Also confirm the system prompt on the
cell phone if necessary.
Connecting with the radio system:
• Switch the ignition, radio system and
cell phone on.
• Select the menu in the cell phone that
searches for Bluetooth-compatible
devices (such as the cell phone prep
or handsfree system).
• Connect the cell phone with the
cell phone prep.
• Enter the PIN number on the
cell phone.
