- Grasp the sides of the head restraint with both hands .
Adjust the head restraints so that the top of the head
restraint is
at least level with your eyes or higher

guidelines on how to adjust the height of the front head restraints
to suit the occupant's body size.
& WARNING
Driving without head restraint s or with head restra ints th at are
not properly adjusted increases the risk of serious or fatal neck
injury dramatically .

Correctly adjusted head restraints and safety belts are an extremely
effective combination of safety features .
Adjusting the rear head restraints
Passengers may only occupy the rear seats when the
head restraints are in the top position.
