Electrical
The tail lights, brake lights, and indicators of the Audi
R8 are equipped with LEDs. The tail lights use 40 LEDs.
The LEDs are lit more intensely during braking. (The
third brake light is an LED strip installed in the roof.)
The reverse light is equipped with a conventional 21-
watt halogen lamp. The reverse lights can be replaced
when the tail light assembly has been removed.
