used in the city, in stop- and-go tr affic, on twi st ing roads and whe n
road condition s are poor (such as ice, fog, gravel, heavy rain and
hydroplaning) - risk of accident .
Turn off the cruise control system temporarily when ent ering
turn lanes, highway exit lanes or in const ructio n zones.
Please note that inadvertently "resting " your foot on the accel-
erator pedal causes the cruise control syste m not to brake. This is
because the cruise control system is overridden by the driver 's
acceleration.

On manual transmission vehicles: If you shift into neutra l with the
cruise control system switched on, always depress the clutch pedal!
Otherwise the eng ine will race and could be da maged as a result .
