Radio functions
Free text search
Using the free text search, you can select the or-
der that the search terms are ent ered in the in-
pu t field. Search in all frequency bands for a sta -
tion name or program type such as

connect your Apple dev ice to the Audi music in-

- Manual station tuning : the frequency bars are
disp layed. Select and confirm t he des ired fre-
que ncy.
- Seek: the rad io t unes to the previous or next re-
ceivab le stat io n.
- Scan: all stat ions are played fo r severa l seconds
each.
- Radio settings: ¢ page 146.
Radio text

Select: I RADIO I button > left control butt on > a
frequency band (for examp le, FM) > a statio n .

Select: right con tr ol button> Radio text .
Browsing through radio text entries :
turn the
contro l knob to the left or right.
Requirement: a radio text ent ry must be dis-
played and t he station must be broadcast ing a
phon e num ber, a navigation dest inat ion or a text
message number as Radio Text Plus info rmation.
If a location, a ph one nu mbe r or a text message
numbe r is included wit h a radio te xt entry, the
rad io text will be shown with a colored borde r.
