Removing
Proceed as follows:
Note

The oil seal can be renewed with the gearbox installed.

Observe general repair instructions ⇒ page 8 .
♦
Observe rules for cleanliness when working on the gearbox
⇒ page 10 .
– Remove flange shaft (right-side) ⇒ page 95 .
– Pull out oil seal with extractor tool -T20143/2- .
Installing
– Drive in new oil seal as far as stop using thrust piece -3377-
(if tool designation in illustration is different, this can be disre‐
garded).
