For more information about the 5th generation Haldex coupling and the thermal management system of the
0D9 transmission, please refer to eSelf-Study Program 990143, The 2015 Audi A3 Introduction.
Like the 2015 A3, the 0D9 transmission is integrated with engine’s ITM
system. The transmission Mechatronics control module is integrated with
the immobilizer system. If the transmission or the Mechatronics unit are
replaced, a Test Plan to activate the immobilizer must be performed using
the VAS Scan Tool.
