plastic surfaces it comes in contact with. Clean up spilled electrolyte
immedia tely with clear water and a sponge.

• If you switch off the automatic dimming function on th e inside
mirror, automati c dimming of th e outside mirrors will likewi se be
disabled.
• Check to make sure there are no objects preventing light from
reaching the inside mirror.
• Do not attach any stickers to the windshield in front of the two
light sensors, as this would interfere wi th both the automatic oper-
ation of the headlights and the automatic dimming of the inside
mirror(sl. •

Turn the adjusting knob to position (D ~ fig . 57 to adjust
the outside mirror on t he driver's side.
Turn the adjusting knob to position @ to adjust the
outside mirro r on the passenger side .
Press the kno b in the appropr iate direct ion to move the
mirror surface so that you have a good view to the rear.

• Curved (i.e. convex) mirror surfaces increase your fie ld of view.
