The cigare tt e lig hter or socket only work with the ignition
on.
Using the cigarette lighter
- Slide the cover open to reach the cigare tte lighte r.
- Push the knob~ fig. 75 in.
- Wait unt il the cigarette lighter knob pops out.
- Remove the cig arette ligh t er immediat ely and use it.
- Reinsert ciga rette lighter into t he soc ket after use.
Connecting an appliance
- Slid e the cov er ope n to reach the cigar ette lighte r.
- Remove cigarett e lighter.
- Plug in app liance to be used.

The socket of the cigarette lighter may be used for 12-volt appli-
ances wi th maximum consumption of up to 100 watts, such as a
flash light, small vacuum cleaner, etc.
Before you purchase any accessories, always read and follow the

replacement" .
& WARNING
Improper use of the cigarette lighter can cause serious injury or
start a fire.
Be careful when using the cigarette lighter. If you do not pay
attention to what you are doing when you are using the cigarette
lighter you can burn yourself.

To avoid damaging the socket, only use plugs that fit properly .
Only use the cigarette lighter socket as a power source for elec-
trical accesso ries for short dura tions. Use the sockets in the vehicle
when a power source is needed for longer durations.

When the engine is off and accessories are still plugged in and
are on, the vehic le batt ery can still be draine d.
The vehicle battery must not be charged with a standard smal l
charger that plugs int o the cigarette lighter or outlet.
