on. To prevent engine damage, pl ease
observe the following notes about the tempera-
ture ranges.
Cold range
If only the LE Ds in the left area of the gauge turn
on, the engine has not reached operating tem-
perature yet. Avoid high engine speeds, full ac-
celerating and heavy engine loads .
Normal range
The engine has reached i ts operating tempera-
ture once the L EDs up to the center of the gauge
turn on under norma l driving conditions. The
LEDs farther to the right may turn on if the en-
gine is under heavy load or the outside tempera-
ture is high. Th is is no cause for concern as long

as the . indicator light in the Infotainment di s-
play does not turn on. If the red L ED in the rig ht
si de of t he display and the . indicator light in
the di sp lay turn on, the coolant temperature is
too high ~ page 12 .

the risk of the engine overheating dur ing

outs i de temperatures and heavy en-
gine load.

he fr ont spoiler also h elps to distribute
cooling air correctly while driving. If the
spoiler is damaged, the cooling effect will
be impaired and the risk of the eng ine over-
heating will increase. See an authorized

Fuel level
The indi cator @ only func tions when t he ignition
is swi
tched on. If the fuel l evel drops below 1.9
gal (7 L), the l eft LED wi ll light up red and the ~ .,.
