Introduction
Appli es to vehicles with Audi connect
Wi th Audi connect services, on line information is
transmitted and integrated directly in the vehi-
cle.
A
mob il e end dev ic e can be used to access the In-
ternet through a Wi- Fi hotspot, either when the
vehicle is stationary or from the rear seat when
the vehicle is in motion .
.& WARNING
- To reduce the risk of an accident, on ly use
Audi connect services when road and traffic
conditions
permit. Always read and follow
the notes in ¢ page 95, Traffic safety infor-
mation.
- To reduce the risk of an accident, use the
Audi connect services with a Wi-Fi hotspot
only in the rear seat when the vehicle is in
motion or only when the vehicle is station-
ary.
W Note
Audi connect is designed for use only with the
provi ded SIM card. Aud i AG is not li able for
the consequences of using other SIM cards.

An Internet connection is required to use Audi
connect. The following requirements must be
met to establish a connection:

to the SIM card reader for the MM!.

Requirement
The vehicle is stationary .
The ignition
must be switched on.
insert a SIM card

... Slide the mini SIM card into the card reader sl ot
with the label facing up (contact surface facing
down)

the SIM card into the slot until it clicks into
place .
.,. Enter the PIN for your SIM card.
... Select and confirm OK .

connect services, confirm the message that ap-
pears with Accept. .,.
