Requirement: the vehi cle must be stationary and
a video file* or a DVD * must be playing.
Parental control *
Playback of vi deo DVDs can be restricted us i ng
par ental contro l.
Enter the password for parental control. Pass-
word set at the factory: 12 34 . You have the fol-
l
ow i ng options:
- Protection level: select and conf irm the protec-
t i on level (for example, Level 5). Eight different
protect i on levels can be set for parental con-
trol. If you set the parental cont r ol l eve l at Lev-
el 5, all DVDs from level 1-5 can be played. Vid-
eo D VDs with a h igher l eve l wi ll not play. Sel ect
No re striction to remove all of t he r est rictions.
- Change pa ss word: edit the cur rent password.
Switch to full sc reen
The video i mage is displayed. Turn the control
knob to display the playlist. Or : press the I BACKI
button .
Replay video
When this function is sw i tched on~. the current
video will replay.
Show DVD menu
The DVD main menu is opened in the I nfo tain-
ment system disp lay. To select a menu item,
move your finger on t he MMI touch control pad
and press the control knob.
Audio track ll
You can manua lly set t he audio trac k (language
and audio format). The language and aud io for -
mat options depend on the video DVD .

Audi r ecommend s the Automatic setting for the
pic tu re f ormat . You can set the picture format
depending on the act ive file or source (for exam -
ple Vi deo fi le*, DVD*).

The MMI detects the picture for -
mat of the so urce and displays the
image in the opt i mum rat i o. Black
bars may appear on the sides of
the display, depending on the
sou rce for mat and the Infotai n-
me nt system display that is i nsta l-
led.
Zoom The image is en l arged to fill the
entire Infotainment system dis-
play.
Switch the f unction off if t he
image is dis to rt ed .
Cinema·
U se this setting for fi l ms in the cin-
scope ema format 21:9. Black bars are
shown in the upper and lower
edges of the Infotainment system
display .
Original
T he image is di sp l ayed in the ratio
of the so urce format . Select this
opt i on if the image is distorted or a
section of the image is cut off
when Auto is selected.
4:3
T he image is fixed in the 4:3 pie-
tu re format . Black bars are shown
on the sides of the Infotainment
system display.
16:9 T he image is fixed in t he 16:9 pie-
tu re f ormat. Black ba rs are shown
in the upper and lower edges of t he
Infotainment system display.
