- To reduce the risk of cuts, protect yourself
from sharp metal components when wash-
ing t he underbody or the inside of the wheel
housings .
- After
washing the vehicle, the braking effect
may be delayed due to mo i sture on the
brake rotors or ice in the wi nte r. The brakes
must be dried fi r st wi th a few care ful br ake
applications.

- If you wash the vehicle in an automatic car
wash, you must retract the extendable rear
spo il er* if necessary, and fold the ex t er i or
mir r ors in to redu ce the risk of damage.

Matte finish painted vehicle components:
- To reduce the risk of damage to the sur-
face, do not use po li shing agents or hard
wax.
- Never u
se protective wax. It can destroy
the matte finish effect .

Do not place any stickers or magnetic
signs on vehicle parts painted with matte
finish paint . The paint could be damaged
when the stickers or magnets are re-
moved.

Only wash the vehicle in facilit ies specially de-
si gned for tha t purpose. This will r educe the
risk of di r ty wate r c ontam inat ed with oil from
ente ring the sewe r syst em.
