A WARNING
Electrol
yte fluid can l eak from automat ic dim-
ming mirrors ifthe gl ass is broken. Electro-
lyte fluid can
irritate skin, eyes and airways.

Repeated or long-term exposure to elect ro-
lyte fluid can lead
to irritation of the air-
ways, especially in peop le wit h asthma or
ot her resp ir ato ry condit i ons. Take deep
breath s immed i ate ly after leaving the vehi-
cl e or, if t hi s is not possible, op en all of t he
doors
and windows as wide as possible.
- If elec tr olyte flu id ente rs the eyes, flush
t h
em thor oughly wi th a lar ge amoun t of
cl ean wat er for at l east 15 mi nu tes and then
seek medical attention.
- If el ectrolyte flu id comes into contact wi th
t he skin, flush the affected ar ea with clean
water for at least 15 minutes and the n clean
with
soap and water and seek medical at-
tention. Clean affected clothing and shoes
thoroughly bef ore wearing again.

If the fluid was swallowed and the person is
conscious, fl u sh the mouth with water for at
least 15 mi nutes. Do not induce vomiting
unless this is recommended by me di cal pro-

fessionals. Seek medical attention i mmedi-
ately .

If t he
glass on an au tomat ic dimming mirror
breaks,
electro l yte can l ea k out . Th is liqu id
damages pl astic sur faces. Remove t he liq ui d
as quickly as possible, fo r example using a
wet sponge.
(!} Tips
- If the light reaching the rearview mirror is
obst r ucted, the automatic di mm ing mirror
will not function correctly,
- The
automatic dimming mirrors do not dim
when the interior li ghting is turned on or
the reverse gear is se l ected .

mirror light switches on when the cover over the
vanity mirr or @ ope ns.
