Tips
-
If
the
selector
lever
does
not
engage,
there
is a
malfunction
. The
eng
ine is
disabled
to
prevent
the
vehicle
from
driving
off
unin-
tentionally
.
To
allow
the
selector
lever
to
engage
aga
in, pr
oceed
as
follows:
- Briefly
press
the
brake
pedal.
-
If
the
vehicle
does
not
move forward
or
in
reverse
even
though
a
dr
ive position is
se-
l
ected,
proceed
as
follows:
-
>Ifthe
vehicle
does
not
move
in
the
desired
direction,
the
system
may
not
have
engaged
the
drive
pos
i
tion
correctly.
Press
the
brake
pedal
and
select
the
drive
posit
i
on
again
.
-
>If
the
vehicle
st
ill
does
not
move
in
the
de-
sir
ed
direction,
there
is a
system
malfunc-
tion.

Driving
tips
The transmission
shifts
up and down automati-
cally when
in
the
driving gears.

start

the

lever is

the

N positions. At low
temper

atures
(below
14
°F

°C)),
the
engine
can only
be
started
when
the
selector
lever is
in
the
