What to do if my Audiovox Car Video System TV or VCP does not turn on?

If your Audiovox Car Video System TV or VCP doesn't turn on, there could be several reasons: * Some vehicles might not power the cigarette lighter when the ignition is off. Try turning the ignition to the ON or ACC position. * Ensure the cigarette lighter cord is properly plugged into both the cigarette lighter and the console base. * The fuse in the fuse panel might be blown. Check for power at the cigarette lighter plug and replace the fuse if necessary, after correcting the condition that caused it to blow. * The fuses in the TV or VCP themselves might be blown. Remove the front bezel, slide out the TV or VCP, check, and replace the fuse, making sure to correct the condition that caused the fuses to blow. Then, replace the front bezel and screws.
