Select the correct drill bit based on the wall surface material for proper installation.
Detach the back panel from the keypad by pressing the release tab.
Position the back panel using a level and mark screw hole locations.
Create pilot holes in the marked spots using the appropriate drill bit.
Peel and attach the adhesive to the rear side of the back panel.
Secure the back panel to the wall using adhesive and screws.
Connect the keypad to the mounted back panel until it clicks.
Add the Smart Keypad within the August app following on-screen instructions.
