    • Push the hooks apart to position them around the roof rack.
    • Place the Quick Grip onto the roof rack.
    • Push the hooks together until both hooks meet the roofrack.
    • Turn the knob clockwise until a "click" is heard, indicating it is locked and ready to go.
    • Repeat this process for all four Quick Grips.
  4. Loading:
    • All load/items must be fastened with the provided loading straps to prevent shifting during transit.

  5. Securing the Box:
    • Close the lid and turn the key to lock the roof box.

Safety Considerations:

  • Driving Behavior: Be aware that the car's behavior will change with a roof box mounted, especially concerning crosswinds, cornering, and braking.
  • Height Clearance: Be mindful of the increased height of the car with the roof box mounted, especially when entering garages or low-clearance areas.
  • Wind Noise: Wind noise may occur when driving with the roof box mounted.
  • Washing: Remove the roof box from the car if it is to be washed in an automatic car wash.

Maintenance Features

Regular Checks:

  • Quick Grips: Check that all Quick Grips are firmly mounted before driving.
  • Post-Installation Check: Repeat the Quick Grip check after the first 10 km of driving.
  • Periodic Checks: Perform Quick Grip checks 4 times a year by turning the knob clockwise until a "click" is heard to ensure the roof box is secured.
  • Dirt Check: Check for dirt on the Quick Grips before each use.

Storage:

  • Store Quick Grips in a clean environment when not in use.
  • The roof box must always be kept in a lying down position when not in use.
  • For energy saving and safety reasons, remove the roof box and roof racks when not in use.

Documentation:

  • Keep the roof box manual together with the car's instruction manual for easy reference.

Warranty:

  • Installation and handling that deviate from this manual will void the warranty and can cause damage to the car and the surrounding environment.
