7.5 Checking TLS Operation
The use of TLS can be checked and confirmed as follows.
System Status Application
The Extensions details indicate the Layer 4 Protocol being used by the extension connection. TLS is shown when TLS is
used.
System Monitor
Within monitor, select Status | H323 Phone Status. The Transport column shows TLS for extensions using TLS for
their connection.
Within monitor traces, H323 RAS Tx and Rx records indicate whether they are using TLS. Similarly, H323 CS and RAS
records show the use of port 1300.
