About this task
Use this task to make a call to a monitored phone. If the monitored phone has an active call
redirection feature and you can override the feature, the monitored phone rings for 30 seconds. If
no one answers the call during this time, the system redirects the call to the redirected number.
Before you begin
Ensure that the monitored phone to which you make the call is in an idle state.
Procedure
1. Press Main menu, and scroll to Features.
2. Press Select.
3. Scroll to choose the monitored phone that you want to call.
4. Press Select twice.
The phone makes a call to the monitored extension.
Making an outgoing call on a bridged line
About this task
When you make a call on a bridged line, you are using another phone user’s line. The caller ID
associated with the call you are making might show the call as coming from you or coming from
the person whose line you are using.
Before you begin
Ensure that the feature is activated by the administrator.
Procedure
1. Select the bridged line you want to use.
2. Press OK or select the corresponding call appearance to get a dial tone.
3. Dial the phone number, or call the person from the Contacts list, or call the person from the
Recents list or select the Redial softkey.
Making a priority call
About this task
Use the Priority Calling feature to provide a special type of internal call alerting for the users. The
called party hears a distinctive ringing when the calling party uses Priority Calling.
Procedure
1. Before dialing, press Main menu. Before dialing, scroll right from the Phone screen to gain
access to the Features screen.
