These phones are supported on IP500 and IP500v2 systems running IP Office Release 6.0 and higher. The phones are
supplied with a two-position stand.
· The availability of VCM (Voice Compression Module) channels is necessary to support IP telephony. For IP Office
6.0+, these phones require an Avaya IP Endpoints license.
· The voice activated dialing and USB features are not supported.
· For IP Office Release 6.1, these phones are supported running SIP software. When that is the case, the IP Office or
IP Office Manager should not be used as the file server for the phone. Avaya SIP phones require an Avaya IP
Endpoints license.
· The Class requirement of PoE powered phones may be increased if the phone is used with additional equipment
such as a button module.
