Specifying a language other than English in the configuration file has no impact on Avaya
Communication Manager settings, values, or text strings.

Configuring the phone using the web interface
The web interface menu contains the same configuration sections as the phone Administration
menu and can be used instead of a provisioning server.
From the phone web interface, you can view the status of the system, interfaces, the SIP account,
and configure parameters in the following tabs:
• Status
• Network
• Ethernet
• Wi-Fi
• SIP
• Settings
• Date & Time
• Management
• Password
• Debugging
• Certificates
• Environment Settings
• Background and Screen Saver
• Calendar
• Key Configuration
• Restart
• Reset to Default
From the web interface, you can also restart the phone and reset its settings to default.
Note:
The parameters the configuration of which requires the phone reboot after logging out of the
web interface, are marked with one asterisk (*).
