Background Image
The phone has a set of images from which you can select one to use as your background. This
setting also controls the background image on any attached JEM24 modules but not that on
JBM24 button modules.
Procedure
1.
Press the button.
2. Use the cursor keys to select Settings.
3. Use the cursor keys to select Display.
• Select the display that you want to adjust. For example, on a J159 phone or a phone
with button modules attached, several displays may be listed.
4. Use the cursor keys to select Background.
5. The list of options is displayed with a highlighted icon next to the currently selected one.
6. Use the cursor keys to change which one is highlighted.
• To view the highlighted one, press Preview. Press Dismiss to return to the list.
• To select the highlighted choice, press Select.
7. When completed, press Save.
8. Press Back/Exit to exit the menus.

Backlight Timer
This setting can be used to turn the phone's screen off after a set period of not being used.
Procedure
1.
Press the button.
2. Use the cursor keys to select Settings.
3. Use the cursor keys to select Display.
4. Use the cursor keys to select Backlight timer.
