Searching for a contact
About this task
Use this procedure to search contacts from the following:
• My contacts: J100 local contact entries
• My Exchange: exchange integration, My contacts
• Global Exchange: exchange integration, global contacts
• LDAP: LDAP directory
• Enterprises: Broadsoft Enterprise directory
• Group: Broadsoft Group directory
Procedure
1. Press Contacts.
2. (Optional) To navigate through Main menu, do the following:
a. Scroll to Applications, and press Select.
b. Scroll to Contacts, and press Select.
3. Press Search > More > Sources.
4. In Contact sources, press Toggle for the required directory.
5. Press Save.
6. Use the dial pad to enter the name, and press Search.
7. (Optional) To add the contact to the local Contacts list, press +Contacts.
Combining contacts
About this task
Use this procedure to merge the phone number of the current contact with the existing local
contact.
Before you begin
Ensure the Contacts list is not empty.
Procedure
1. Press Contacts.
2. (Optional) To navigate through Main menu, do the following:
a. Scroll to Applications, and press Select.
b. Scroll to Contacts, and press Select.
