Downgrading to version 8.x
Downgrading to earlier releases is not possible for some Avaya XT Series products or in particular
conditions.
For example, in release 9.0 standard mode, you must disable Verify Signature to downgrade
from 9.0 to an 8.3.x or older release because it is not possible to downgrade to 8.x when in
recovery mode.
Procedure
1. Access the remote download settings. From the endpoint's main menu, select
Administrator Settings > Utilities > Remote Access > Download. From the Avaya XT
Series web interface, select Configure > Advanced > Utilities > Remote Access >
Download.

2. From the Verify Signature menu, select No.
3. Click Save.
