Alternatively, attach a USB headset with microphone to the lower USB port on the XT Codec Unit,
for example
Plantronics Voyager Pro UC, wireless Plantronics Savi W440, or Jabra Pro 9450 Duo.
Configuring the advanced system names in Avaya XT
Series
About this task
This configuration is available only if your administrator enabled the advanced settings for users.
Procedure
1. Do one of the following:
• On the endpoint main menu, click Configure.
• On the web interface, click Administrator Settings.
2. On the endpoint, click Advanced.
The default PIN for Advanced settings on the endpoint is 1234.
If your administrator configures a PIN to access the advanced settings on the endpoint,
Avaya XT Series prompts you to enter the PIN. After you enter the PIN, Avaya XT Series
displays the Advanced window.
3. Click System > Location.
4. Configure the following settings:
• System Name
• System Name Unicode: This option is available only on the web interface.
