On the homepage of the Avaya XT Series, there is a QR barcode and also a string verification

code.

• To invite the Avaya XT Series as a room in Avaya Spaces using the Avaya Spaces mobile

application, scan the QR code.

• To invite the Avaya XT Series as a room in Avaya Spaces using the Avaya Spaces Web

client, type the string verification code. You can also obtain the string verification code by

navigating to Diagnostics > Utilities > Avaya Spaces.

Using the Avaya Spaces Web client

Before you begin

• Ensure that you have an Avaya Spaces account.

• Make a note of the string verification code from the homepage of your Avaya XT Series. You

can also obtain the string verification code by navigating to Diagnostics > Utilities > Avaya

Spaces.

Procedure

1. Log in to your Avaya Spaces account in your browser.

2. From the left hand menu, click Join Spaces Room.

3. Type the string verification code that you obtained from the homepage of your Avaya XT

Series.

You can also obtain the string verification code by navigating to Diagnostics > Utilities >

Avaya Spaces.

The Avaya XT Series joins the meeting as a guest with audio and video. You can use your

computer as a source for presenting by using Screen Link or a DVI cable. During the

meeting, Avaya XT Series devices are represented by a red icon. This icon is visible in the

roster and in the video panel if the device is in privacy mode. You cannot redial to meeting

that you joined in this way.
