Material unwinder
The material unwinder comprises the
unwinder (1) and the tension arm (2). The
tension arm is for counteracting jolting
movements of the material which can be
caused by sudden acceleration or braking.
The unwinder itself is braked and can be
adjusted to different core diameters.
Servicing the unwinder
Tool
– Screwdriver
Disassembling/assembly
1. Remove the retaining ring (3).
2. Pull off the entire unwinding core (4).
During assembly:
Check for easy movement and inspect
the braking system (if necessary grease
the unwinding axle).
