  Your Avista Air Conditioner might not be operating well due to several reasons. Check if the unit is exposed to direct sunlight and close the window shades. Ensure that all doors and windows are closed, and remove any heat sources from the room. Also, inspect the air filters; if they are dirty, remove, clean, or replace them, reinstalling them before use. Finally, verify that neither the air intake nor the exhaust vent is blocked.

  If your Avista Air Conditioner isn't working, first, ensure the power cord is properly connected to the power outlet. If the display shows “FL,” unplug the power cord, drain any accumulated waste water from the drain bucket, then reconnect the power cord and restart the unit. Also, the timer shutdown function may have been activated, in this case, shut down for 3 min and restart the A/C.
