7. Specify stty options, if desired, in the STTY Options field.
8. To change the break interval, enter a new number in the Break Interval field.
9. To change the break sequence, enter a new sequence in the Break Sequence field.
10. To change the content of the login banner, enter new text in the Login Banner field.
11. For a dedicated terminal, enter the IP address of the desired host in the Host to Connect field.
12. Enter the type of terminal in the Terminal Type field.
13. Click Done.
14. Click apply changes.
Expert - Ports - Virtual Ports
An administrator can select Expert - Ports - Physical Ports - Virtual Ports to cluster one or more
ACS console servers to enable access to up to 1024 serial ports through one IP address. Only one
cluster may be configured.
The ACS 5000 console server is the master that controls other console servers as slaves. The slaves
can be any model of ACS console server on the same network as the master. They must not be
cascaded from the ACS 5000 console server (that is, they should not be connected to serial ports on
the master).

The administrator clicks the Add button to configure a slave and can also assign aliases to the slave
ports
.
After configuration, each slave console server is added to the Slave list on the Virtual Ports screen,
and the names of the serial ports on the slave are listed on the Connect - Serial pull-down menu in
the Web Manager. Authorized users can also access individual ports on slaves directly through
SSH or Telnet connections.
NOTE: Daisy-chained IPDUs are supported only if they are connected to a serial port on the master.
