2. Enter the SysContact information (email address of the administrator, for example,
acs6000_admin@avocent.com.)
3. Enter the SysLocation information (physical location of the console server, for example,
Cyclades_ACS6000).
4. Click Save.
5. Click Application Settings - SNMP - SNMP v1,v2,v3. The SNMP v1,v2,v3 screen is displayed.
6. Enter the the community name for SNMP v1/2c or the V3 user name for SNMP v3 in the
Name field.
7. Enter the OID.
8. Select the desired permission from the pull-down menu. Choices are Read and Write and Read
Only.
9. To configure SNMP v1 or v2, click Version v1, v2, then enter the source (valid entry is the
subnet address).
10. To configure SNMP v3, click Version v3, then select the Authentication Type (MD5 or SHA).
11. Enter the authentication passphrase or password.
12. Enter the privacy passphrase for DES.
13. Select the Minimum Authentication Level (Auth, NoAuth, Priv).
14. When finished, click Save.
