minimalnetworkbandwidth.TheMQTTclientinAxisdevicermwarecansimplifyintegrationofdataandeventsproducedinthe
devicetosystemswhicharenotvideomanagementsoftware(VMS).
SetupthedeviceasanMQTTclient.MQTTcommunicationisbasedontwoentities,theclientsandthebroker.Theclientscan
sendandreceivemessages.Thebrokerisresponsibleforroutingmessagesbetweenclients.

ALPNisaTLS/SSLextensionthatallowsfortheselectionofanapplicationprotocolduringthehandshakephaseoftheconnection
betweentheclientandserver.ThisisusedtoenableMQTTtrafcoverthesameportthatisusedforotherprotocols,suchasHTTP.
Insomecases,theremightnotbeadedicatedportopenforMQTTcommunication.AsolutioninsuchcasesistouseALPNto
negotiatetheuseofMQTTastheapplicationprotocolonastandardport,allowedbytherewalls.
