It is not intended for collecting sharp or heavy objects such as stones or metal items. The sweeper is designed to be towed by a vehicle, such as a tractor or lawnmower, and features a hopper bag for collecting the swept material. Usage Features

  • Towing: It is towed by a vehicle, and the hopper rope for emptying should be attached to the towing vehicle, not to clothing or body, to prevent entanglement in moving parts.
  • Height Adjustment: The sweeper features an adjustable pole spacer (L) and a handle assembly (3) for height adjustment, allowing it to be adapted to different towing vehicle hitch heights and ground conditions.
  • Hopper Bag: The hopper bag (6) is designed to collect swept material. It should not be overfilled, as this can damage the bag. The bag corners are secured with snap buttons (15).
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Not to be used by children or ridden upon.

  • Wheel Gear/Pawl Service:
    • When servicing, remove only one wheel at a time to avoid mixing up parts, as the left and right side components are different.
    • Note the position of all washers and other parts during disassembly.
    • To remove a wheel, use a screwdriver to pop off the hub cap, then remove the lock nut and washer.
  • Cosmetic Maintenance:
    • Touch up scratched or worn painted metal surfaces with glossy enamel spray paint.
  • Storage:
    • Do not overfill the hopper bag, as this can damage it.
