The BaByliss i pro 230 straightening iron is specially

Created using nanotechnology, the straightener
heating plates have a new Ceramic and Titanium
micro particle coating.

The BaByliss i pro 230 straightener integrates
the latest in heating technology that lets it heat
up instantly as well as give it incomparable heat
stability:thus,itwillstraightenwhilebeinggentleto

To Straighten Your Hair
• Before straightening, wash and towel dry your
hairthencombthroughwithalarge-toothcomb
tountangle.
• Divide your hair into sections. Lift the upper
sectionsusingclipssothatyoucanworkwiththe
sectionsunderneath.
• PlugintheBaBylisspro230WetN’Dryandpush
theOn/Offbutton.Theredindicatorlightcomes
onandwillstarttoash.Thersttimeyouuse
the unit, you may notice a little steam and a
particularodor:thisiscommonandwilldisappear
thenexttimeyouuseit.
• Select the desired temperature using the
temperature control. Generally, we recommend
theunitbesettoalowertemperatureforne,
bleached and/or damaged hair, and a higher
temperature for curly, thick and/or difcult to
style hair. Every hair type is different, so we
recommendyouuseposition1thersttimeyou
straighten.Youcangraduallyincreasethesetting
graduallyoverthenextusesifnecessary.Usethe
tablebelowasaguide:
Temperature Hair Type
130–160°C Fine,bleachedand/ordamagedhair
160–200°C Normal,coloredand/orwavyhair
200–230°C Thickand/orverycurlyhair
• Allow the straightener to heat up for about a
minute.Theredindicatorlightwillstopashing
when the unit has heated up to the selected
temperature. Your straightener is now ready to
use;theredindicatorlightwillstayon.
• Takeasectionofhairabout2to3cmwideandplace
it between the 2 heating plates close to the roots.
• Pressthestraightenerhandlestogether, hold to
keep the section between the plates and glide
slowly from the roots to the tips.
• After use, press the ‘0’ button and unplug the
straightener. Allow it to cool completely before storing.

ensure additional protection, have installed in
your bathroom a residual current device (RCD)
withanominaltripcurrentnohigherthan30mA.
Askyourelectricaltterforadvice.
• Neverimmersetheunitinwateroranyotherliquid.
• Ifthepowercordisdamaged,itmustbereplaced
by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or
similarlyqualiedpersontoavoidahazard.
• Donotusetheunitifithasfallenorifitappears
to be damaged.
• Do not leave the unit unattended when it is
pluggedinorswitchedon.
• Unplugtheunitimmediatelyifyouhaveproblems
whenusingit.
• Do not use any accessories other than those
recommendedbyBaByliss.
• Donotleavetheunitpluggedintothemainsfor
longerthan24hours.
• Unplug the unit after each use and before
cleaning it.
• Avoidanycontactbetweentheunit’shotsurfaces
andyourskin,inparticular,yourears,eyes,face
and neck.
• This unit is not intended for use by people
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or by persons
who lack experience or knowledge, unless they
are supervised or have been given instructions
beforehand on the use of the unit by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to make sure they do not treat the
unitlikeatoy.
• Allowtheunittocoolbeforestoring.
• If this appliance has been failure or damage,
do not attempt to repair the appliance. Return
